John Engerman was destined to be a Master Builder. Growing up in Park Ridge, Illinois, he demonstrated a talent for creative thinking. As he grew, so did his passion for creating and building.

More than three decades have passed since John has driven his first nail, but his passion to continuously improve still grows. From this desire sprung the adoption of panelized construction – a process which added quality and savings.

In 2004, Engerman Contracting continued to evolve by partnering with the leading real estate agency in Southern Wisconsin. In 2005, we began construction on Woodstone Prairie, a development on 91 acres of 43 single-family homes on the gently rolling countryside of southeast Lake Geneva.

From its inception more than three decades ago, the philosophy of John Engerman’s work has remained constant: The value of what we do is in our ability to build long-term relationships by delivering exceptional client experience.
